This Connector Privacy Notice supplements the Fuse Inventory Privacy Policy. Terms defined in that policy apply here. Where this notice and the main policy differ with respect to the connector, this notice controls.
The Fuse connector lets you access your inventory, purchasing, and sales data from third-party AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), including Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot. The connector provides read-only access to data that already exists in your Fuse account. When you use it, the AI assistant sends requests to Fuse on your behalf, and Fuse returns the requested report data directly to that assistant within your conversation. The connector does not create new business records or modify any data in your account.
We do not store the contents of your AI conversations or prompts. The only information generated by connector use is request metadata (such as the tool invoked, timestamp, user and company identifiers, and response status) and aggregated usage statistics, which we use to monitor service health, enforce rate limits, and improve the connector. Request logs are retained for 30 days for debugging purposes and then deleted. Aggregated usage statistics, which contain no report data or conversation content, may be retained on an ongoing basis.
Authentication for the connector is handled through third-party identity providers (WorkOS and Google Auth) acting as our service providers, which process your login credentials and issue access tokens on our behalf.
Report data returned by the connector is shared only with the AI provider whose assistant you have connected (for example, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or Microsoft), which receives it as part of your conversation and handles it under its own privacy terms. Your choice of assistant determines which provider receives your data, and we encourage you to review that provider's privacy terms. Fuse does not share report data with any other third party. All connector data remains subject to this notice, the Fuse Inventory Privacy Policy, and the same access controls and company-level isolation that apply to your Fuse account.
Questions about the connector's data practices can be directed to support@fuseinventory.com.
